The first class scheduled for 2010 will be on March 6th at 12 Noon. This class will be conducted here at 311 W. Front our home location, the class room at the farm not operational at this time.

Blossomland Bee Supply is offering again for the fifth year a beekeeping course 101 that will provide beginners with enough knowledge and assistance to assemble a beehive, populate it with bees and safely manage the hive.

This class in designed for the individual just beginning or the person who would a introduction to honeybees and beekeeping only. The topics covered are basic to beekeeping with a focus on the summer needs of the bees in preparation for a successful wintering over of the colonies.

Weather permitting we will visit our bee-yard located at the Buchanan School District Farm on Andrews Road just a 3/4 mile north of Buchanan. Students should be prepared to visit the bee-yard by having protective clothing to wear. You have the option to purchase the protective wear and beekeeping equipment from us at reduced prices.
